Your personal and health information is stored securely using Google Workspace, which operates under a Data Processing Agreement compliant with Australian privacy requirements. Access to your information is restricted to your treating clinicians — Tina Maio and Matthew Arena.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These steps include:
- Secure cloud storage with access controls
- Two-factor authentication on all clinical systems
- Encrypted data transmission
- Regular security reviews
7. Retention of Your Information
We retain your health records for a minimum of 7 years from the date of your last consultation, or until you turn 25 years of age if you are currently a minor — whichever is later. This is in accordance with Australian health records legislation and AHPRA requirements.
After the retention period, your information is securely destroyed.
8. When We May Share Your Information
We will not share your personal or health information with any third party without your explicit consent, except in the following circumstances:
- Where required or authorised by law (for example, mandatory reporting obligations)
- Where necessary to prevent a serious and imminent threat to your health or safety or the health or safety of another person
- Where you have provided consent for us to communicate with another healthcare practitioner involved in your care
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to any third party.

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) you have the right to:

- Request corrections to information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete or misleading
